I started working half-time at LBIC in January 2016, the other half I spend as a researcher in the Glucose transport and Protein trafficking group led by Dr Karin Stenkula were I have been previously as a Postdoc. I have a PhD in microbiology were I studied bacterial cell division.
My main responsibility at LBIC is our field emission Jeol JSM-7800F Scanning electron microscope installed in autumn 2014. LBIC offers full sample preparation service for SEM/TEM as well as user support and instrument training.
I have worked extensively with advanced fluorescence microscopy (TIRF, EPI and confocal) and can help users in designing and setting up live-cell experiments. We can also provide users with sample staining protocols for fluorescent microscopy.
