Lund University Bioimaging Centre (LBIC) is an infrastructure within the Medical Faculty at Lund University, housing a large variety of advanced imaging equipment and cutting-edge bioimaging techniques ranging from micro to macro. This in combination with a highly experienced and service-minded staff makes LBIC unique!

Our dedicated staff scientists can offer support throughout the entire experimental process - from project design, experimental set-up and preparation to imaging, data storage, analysis and visualization. LBIC can also offers training, support, workshops and seminars. Our services are available to both preclinical and clinical research groups at Lund University, Region Skåne as well as external organizations and companies.

Our goal

The overall goal is to provide access to equipment and expertise for advanced bioimaging research. As stated in the working procedures for the medical faculty in 2012:

LBIC is a centre under the faculty board with the task to be an infrastructural platform for human and animal experimental imaging for users at Lund University and with a national and international openness.

Our wish is to help leading the way towards future scientific breakthroughs by enabling cutting-edge bioimaging techniques to be part of your research project.
